My Social Media-less Life

I could be writing for NaNoWriMo and had every intention of doing so, but chose instead to go on the hunt for some audiobooks I’ve listened to in the past to determine if my mom’s husband would enjoy any that he hasn’t already consumed in physical form.

So instead I settled on a quick blog post because… tomorrow is Election Day and I’ll be working all day at a polling location. This will be my first Election Day without social media since I didn’t get rid of it until the end of August and of course primaries were at the beginning.

I’m hoping we’ll be busy all day, but if not I’ll probably try to do more reading than writing. Conditions have to be “some type of way” for writing whereas with reading, I can do snatches here and there if I feel so inclined.

During the primary back in August, one of my fellow workers even listened to/watched YouTube videos (with headphones in) while we worked because we had some slower patches! That was comical to me.

If you are registered to vote and have done your homework, please go vote tomorrow. If you have not done your homework, polls are open all day tomorrow and if you get in line before 7pm, they’ll let you vote. 😉

If you have no intention of doing your research… I would ask that you do not vote. Bad votes are probably worse than no votes at all.

Overall, just do your research and then go vote.
