What is there to say about rain?
It brings new life to things that are almost dead.
And can kill other things that are doing just fine.
Rain rejuvenates,
Rain destroys.
Rain refreshes.
Of all the things rain does,
It shows up when you least expect it.
It cleanses the palette of the world,
And resets the stages of growth.
With rain comes new life.
Rain brings healing.
Without rain, nothing survives long.
The preceding… something was part of today’s Bloganuary Prompt:
Write a short story or poem about rain.
Since I haven’t written anything in poem form in a long time, I decided tonight was a good time to do it. To be honest, it’s incomplete since I don’t like how it ended.
But Bloganuary was about writing everyday, not about it being perfect. So hopefully you don’t mind that it just kind of… stops.
Have a good night! 🙂
