My Social Media-less Life

Bloganuary Writing Prompt:
What is the most memorable gift you have received?

Even though I don’t always do these prompts right away, I open the email and think about it until I finally get around to writing. I can say with absolute certainty that I have no idea how to answer this question.

As with most of the world, I want people to like me. To say I’ve gotten a more memorable gift from one person than from another would mean that someone could infer that I like one person’s gifts more than anyone else’s.

And then we’re getting into the weeds of drama that I just don’t need. Whether in my life or anybody else’s.

What I can say is a pretty memorable gift though is the gift of life.

And of course here I go with the cop-out answers again, but really. We can say the fact that my mom birthed me but also the fact that God gave His Son Jesus for me so I can live would be another great way to look at this answer.

So… the gift of life is the most memorable gift I have received.

Nothing big or fancy, but I wanted to make sure I kept up on writing everyday, plus it’s late so I didn’t want to make this too long. 🙂
