This is going to be another weekly update as well as a Bloganuary post… you’ve been warned. 😛
Interestingly enough, this week I’ve been thinking a lot about my lack of social media. There are a number of contributing factors, but the biggest one is that I don’t “hear” from people I would normally see on social media.
Obviously if I have their number I could text them and with most of them I do that, but there are a few whose numbers I don’t have and I miss seeing their life updates or how their kids are doing or what new thing they’re learning about themselves.
It’s weird, but that’s been the biggest thing I’ve missed about social media this week. Usually I’m fine without it and have gotten over the usual hump of grief…
But we all know grief isn’t just over.
So if you’re thinking of me and have my number, don’t hesitate to text me and tell me how you’re doing. 🙂 I don’t mind the intrusion in my day and I promise I’ll keep it short for your sake. 😉
Now onto what we’re all really here for…
Bloganuary Writing Prompt:
If you had a billion US dollars, how would you spend it?
Somebody was thinking about those Mega Millions numbers…
If you haven’t thought this question out in some way, are you even living life?
Aside from the usual tithing that I would do because that’s certainly an overflow I’d love to continue getting, I would pay off my debt (which is small potatoes compared to that many zeroes) and then would help my mom and my brother and sister-in-law with whatever debts they have and then put a large amount of it into savings before looking into traveling for a few weeks. Or months. I’m not picky.
After that, I’ve done all I can with money and I’m pretty sure I will have scratched only the surface of the amount of money I have. A lot of it would go to some form of charity too, I’m sure.
