Bloganuary Writing Prompt:
How do you show love?

Oddly enough, this isn’t an easy answer… especially because “showing love” could mean anything from my own love language to how I show love to other people whose love language I happen to know (or can deduce based on what I know of them).

So maybe we’ll answer the question both ways. 😛

My love languages in order (from the first to the least) are quality time, words of affirmation, physical touch, gifts, and acts of service.

So if you like to hang out and say cool things about me while occasionally giving me hugs or meaningful touches (not the… weird kind…), then we’re going to be great friends!

And sometimes (or maybe more often than not) I tend to act out of my love language.

But other times the Lord helps me remember that not everyone communicates with the same love languages as me.

So I show love in as many ways as I can to as many people as I can.
– buy them coffee
– hang out with them
– help with housework
– listen to their stories
– make them laugh
– give them words of encouragement

It depends on the person and the circumstance, but these are just a few ways I show love.
