• A “Something” About Rain (Bloganuary 7)

What is there to say about rain?It brings new life to things that are almost dead. And can kill other things that are doing just fine. Rain rejuvenates,Rain destroys.Rain refreshes. Of all the things rain does,It shows up when you least expect it.It cleanses the palette of the world,And resets the stages of growth. With rain…

• Why I Do What I Do

This blog will be my Bloganuary blog as well as my regular weekly update blog, so buckle up! This has been a rough week. It was the first week of the year and for the first time since I started dog-sitting regularly (in 2017) I was not sleeping at my house for the first of…

• Bloganuary 4*

*The following Bloganuary post was supposed to have been the first one but when they started sending me emails, they began by sending them to me a day in advance. Until this morning when I didn’t get an email, I had no real idea and thought maybe it was just a glitch. So this question…

• Always On The Clock (A Longer Blog Than Usual)

I’ve been trying to write this blog for days, but something kept stopping me.– Life– Lack of motivation– Not having a good title– Going in the wrong direction The last one might surprise you since my tagline for this blog is literally living life without the socials, and that’s anything that’s happened from August 29…

• Novel-writing Winner

As you can see from the above picture, I made it to 50,000 words in one consistent story since the very first time I actually officially started NaNoWriMo back in 2017. The title is a working title, so don’t read too much into that, but I may or may not be seriously considering next steps…

• Onward and Upward

I had an eventful weekend in just about all the ways. It was busy with dog-sitting a “new” dog, seeing The Chosen in theaters, helping my mom put together a new kitchen table (NOT the one in the above picture), and having a birthday party for my sister-in-law. I also had an eventful weekend in…

• Writing Is Hard

I was going to wait until tomorrow to write this, but just remembered I’m having a write-in with friends for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo for short) and would rather write my blogs in the privacy of my own bedroom. Not that I don’t publish them for people to see, but I prefer people to…

• Confirmations and Convictions, Pt. 2

This is just a short update to yesterday’s blog about the fact that I did “the thing” and because I did the thing, the Lord was gracious and made the whole situation much easier and a non-issue. Because it wasn’t about the issue or the “thing”, it was about my obedience to the Holy Spirit.…

• Just Keep Driving

As is usually the case at the very beginning of the month, I was busy every day of the week last week and didn’t remember I was supposed to post something until last night (Sunday)… and that’s a full 24 hours after the time I want to post. Of course, going on a trip, coming…

We got back to Kansas City yesterday evening after what ended up being one of the best 8+ hour car rides I’ve ever had with friends. So many good memories were made and I really look forward to the next time I head back to South Bend for that convention. Today was definitely “BACK TO…
